Michael Bolton cuyo nombre realmente es Michael Bolotin, nació el 26 de Febrero de 1953 en el seno de una familia judía de origen ruso en New Haven, Connecticut, Estados Unidos.
Este cantante y compositor americano encontró su gran éxito a mediados de los ochenta, y a inicios de los noventa por sus participaciones como artista de soft-rock y baladas pero también como tenor.
