Days of future passed

The Moody Blues es un quinteto de músicos británicos que se formó en Birmingham en 1964. Su primer éxito fue Go now (1965). Su primera voz fue Denny Laine, que más adelante sería compañero de Paul McCartney en Wings. También participaban en el grupo Graeme Edge (batería), Ray Thomas (flauta) y Mike Pinder.

Tras el primer disco, Denny Laine cedió su sitio a Justin Hayward (guitarra) y también se incorporó al grupo John Lodge (bajo). Su segundo trabajo, Days of future passed (1967), representó un enorme cambio en los planteamientos musicales, y fue un enorme éxito, y aún hoy se sigue reeditando.
